We will be closed until spring 2012 due to the licensing renewal error. It is something that we have decided to do because our licensing won't be in place until the end of December. We put alot of time & money into this event & we are truely sorry. I can give private tours in January & February by appointment only as soon as our license is back in place.

Founded in 2008, The Lakewood Zoo is growing every day. Located between Mountain and Lakewood Wisconsin, The Lakewood Zoo offers visitors a chance to interact with and explore a vast array of animals, while taking in the natural beauty of Northeast Wisconsin. Enjoy interacting hands-on with small animals in the petting zoo or play on the playground and have a picnic. You will be amazed by the variety of animals and adventure you'll find at the Lakewood Zoo!

Six big cats - 3 Lions & 3 Tigers just arrived! This is very rare that 3 Lions & 3 Tigers live together in one large inclosure. They are seven and a half years old and we have just been informed that one of the lions is going to have babies!
